Jamie graduated from the Thompson Rivers University Animal Health Technology Program in 1992 and has been with Eagle Ridge Animal and Bird Hospital since 2000.
She has extensive knowledge in a vast array of routine and specialized surgical procedures, critical care management, exotic husbandry, reproduction, and pediatrics. This experience is an asset especially during emergency procedures and while managing high risk anaesthetic patients.
Jamie has been actively involved with the Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever Club of Canada and the Canadian Kennel Club in conformation, agility, and breeding of her beloved tollers for over 15 years. Her hobbies include enjoying her large collection of lizards and tortoises, hiking with her three dogs, and cheering on her son and daughter at their hockey and lacrosse games.
