What does our AAHA accreditation mean for you and your pets? The mission of AAHA, the American Animal Hospital Association, is to set the standard of veterinary excellence. In order to achieve AAHA accreditation, our hospital has to be focused on providing an exceptional level of medical care and customer service. We are evaluated regularly to ensure that we follow the high standards and requirements of the association. There are over 900 individual standards that must all be met. The areas covered include patient care and pain management, surgery, pharmacy, laboratory, exam facilities, medical records, cleanliness, emergency services, dental care, diagnostic imaging, anesthesiology, and continuing education.
