Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Christine Ong was born in Singapore but at an early age came to Canada and was lucky enough to grow up in beautiful North Vancouver. After obtaining her Bachelor of Science from UBC she moved to New Zealand for five years where she earned her veterinary degree at Massey University. Dr. Ong worked at a busy animal hospital in Vancouver for 10 years where she gained an incredible wealth of experience and continued learning. She finds all aspects of veterinary medicine rewarding but particularly enjoys the fields of dentistry, internal medicine and the opportunity to make long-term relationships with pet families.
Her own family has expanded now to include a supportive husband, daughter Cecily, son Griffin and a senior Boston Terrier named Tyson. Much of her time outside the clinic is spent being a busy mom but you will also find her in the dance studio, eating at new restaurants, baking, or most importantly just trying to slow down and enjoy the precious moments.
What Dr. Ong loves most about working in this animal hospital is its collaborative environment comprised of vets and support staff who all have the passion and drive to ensure that you and your pets receive the best advice and care.
